This is Sound Wave, an art installation made by artist Jean Shin using melted and sculpted vinyl records.

my favorite thing in this entire screwed up world is when you can put on a song and it can completely express how you feel in that exact moment, you can separate every instrument, every word and just feel it down to your bones, and it just sinks into your soul.
The Woodlands - Can We Stay
Such cuteness and loveliness coming from this massively underrated Portland duo.
Simply Darling.

So Far…
Austin has been a blast as always, I love it here so much and I’m glad that I live close enough to come back often. Today was filled with lots of music, good food, and awesome friends, this is my fourth year returning to ACL and each year it gets a little better the only thing that could make it perfect would be if some of my out of state friends were able to make it. As far as music goes I was able to enjoy..
-Those Darlins (really fun)
-The Black Keys (always awesome)
-Beach House (I enjoyed this set quite a bit)
- Ryan Bingham ( a good way to enter the evening)
-The Strokes (just awesome, but i could be a bit bias since I have always wanted to see them and never have been able to until tonight… eeeek!)
All in all this weekend is shaping out to be a good one!
